The Foundation renews its image
The Foundation has decided to update its logo after 30 years, in order to meet new communication requirements and to better communicate our goals and our activities within the communities throughout the world.
The new pictogram keeps the symbolic elements of the old logo, which can be easily identified: the terrestrial globe, for the deployment of the Foundation’s activities throughout the world, the letter «R», for Roncalli Foundation and the Christian Cross, the best-known religious symbol of Christianity and the emblem of Catholicism.
The Cross, is also linked to the Foundation’s heritage, since it was created by the Sisters of Providence and symbolizes the Providence of God to the most destitute people of the world, as stated in our Mission.
This new symbol is a continuation of the old logo, and its graphic style evolves in order to better function in the actual and future communication channels. Its classic and simple style makes it easier to identify the symbols and allows for a better and more efficient interpretation of the values we want to transmit to our actual and future contributors, partners and beneficiaries.
This new design was chosen for its qualities: memorable, striking, timeless, evocative, versatile.
