Applying for a grant

1. First, you must complete the online registration form, or write a letter to our Executive Director describing your organization, your project’s objectives, total cost, a detailed list of all organizations who contribute and the amount requested to the Foundation. Please note that only Canadian organizations and Canadian religious congregations with their address in Canada can fill the online registration form. Your letter must also mention the name of a Canadian religious congregation or a Canadian organization (with an official Canadian charity registration number) who could act as an agent or intermediary should your project is accepted.
2. Your project will receive a preliminary review by members of our staff and at this point a proposal may be declined; or you will receive a letter from the Executive Director confirming your project is eligible for funding.
3. Once you have received this confirmation, you must fill a registration form and follow all the steps.
4. Also, with this letter of confirmation, you will receive a permanent user number. You will have to provide this number every time you complete an online or a written application.
5. Your registration will allow you to present a project in our special section called Intranet Grantees. You will have access to our project demand form and to the list of the former projects you have submitted to the Foundation on our Website.
6. However, you must note, that the reception of a user number does not mean the acceptance of your project by the Foundation. All projects must be reviewed by our Aid and Executive Committees.
